The Priorat’s wine growing domain takes us back to ancestral times: its hectares distributed in natural terraces look like a monochrome garden that spreads along an extensive manor, surrounded by forests and settled at the foot of the nearby Montsant Natural Reserve.
Although it offers, this extraordinary spot also needs to receive and to feed such fertile lands, which requires being very careful with their nourishment, as a mutual thanksgiving action. We do not have any doubt about growing vines and assisting grapes in an ecological way. Preserving the valuable charm of our environment is also our concern.
As a result, the fertilizers used there are totally natural: they originate in ovine and goat cattle from nearby areas. The manure mounds pile in key positions to be distributed, in correspondence with the fruits they will produce, as nourishing.
Our agricultural engineer service share their particular view and their inner feeling based on our absolute respect for the environment. Therefore, we can affirm that wine and land coexist naturally as it should have always been.
In order for this idyll to be fulfilled, the water, wisely administered, springs from our plentiful water spring, and from the aquifer in the rocky Montsant range. |
